The concept of a Liquid Deli was borrowed from Europe, when the founder of Tap & Cork Franschhoek visited Germany a number of years ago.  He so loved the way the variety of deliciously infused food oils and vinegar enhanced his cooking and eating experience, that he was inspired to open his own version back home.

South Africa produces some of the finest olive oils in the world and we source locally infused extra virgin olive oil.  Our infused balsamic vinegars are naturally fermented in small oak barrels using the 12 year solera system, which results in a balsamic-style vinegar with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. The botanicals or natural ingredients are added for their flavour- and health-enhancing properties.

Our specialty food offering comprises a carefully selected range of small-batch and homemade jams, preserves, condiments, sauces, pestos and salsas.
